Erwin Wurm has contributed significantly to the reinterpretation of the noition of sculpture - for him it has qualities that transgress genres and media. The processual, changeable, and ephemeral are subsumed under the sculptural heading just as much as texts, drawings, videos and photographs. The show sensitizes viewers to these media interferencves. Erwin Wurm has many fans worldwide. One of them are the Red Hot Cili Peppers, who acted with his wirk in one of their video clips.
